How long does it take to deliver? We offer a 6-8 week lead time on acceptance of order with a 50% deposit.
Do you have a show room? We have doors on display in our showroom in Cambridge. Alternatively you could visit one of the exhibitions we attend.
Is installation easy? It is recommended that you use a carpenter to install the door set. Everything is pre-fitted so once the frame is installed it is a case of re-assembling the items. Bar handle positions are left to your own discretion.
How is the door supplied? The door system is assembled in the factory and disassembled for transportation. Glass is usually installed in the frame prior to delivery depending on its size.
How is the product finished? We factory finish the door using the sickens microporous paint system in a colour of your choice.
Is the door system secure? The door is secured using an insurance rated ERA night latch with a separate deadlock. Security hinges and laminated glass are used as standard.
How is the door sealed? Aquamac weather seals and a stormguard threshold strip are used to seal the door against the frame.
How is the door panel constructed? The perimeter of each door panel has a solid timber frame. The area between the frame is rigid insulation sandwiched between two layers of marine plywood. An 8mm oak veneer is bonded to the panel using a polyurethane glue. The panel is compressed with a hydraulic machine press until the bonding agent has cured.
What material is the frame constructed from? Engineered oak is used to construct the frame and sill.
