You’ve picked the style of your new windows and doors, the colour, material and you’ve also checked to make sure they’ll keep your home super safe and secure, but maybe you have more questions before you can fully commit.

Is one of these questions…are bifold, sliding, French, or front doors or windows soundproof? If it is, you’re in luck, as we have the answer!

Are Kloeber’s windows and doors soundproof?

The simple answer to this question is no, our windows and doors are not soundproof. However, each of our glazing solutions is available in different types of glass and each of these can supply various acoustic values due to their differing insulating properties, making some more resistant to sound.

The best way to think about it is if you’ve ever been in a home that has single glazing and this has been upgraded to double or even triple, there is a noticeable difference between the amount of sound which is able to penetrate the glass after the upgrade.

As well as double and triple glazing, we are able to offer a wide range of different glass options for your windows and doors. You can read more about them in our “What type of glass do you offer and what do I need for my doors and windows” FAQ or, if you would rather speak to one of our team about the options and which is best for your self-build, home renovation or improvement project, then contact us!
