As a carbon-balanced company, we are very conscious that we supply and install windows and doors that are both high in performance and earth-friendly! That is why all three of our materials; timber, aluminium and alu-clad, are sustainable and eco-friendly.

Timber

If you are thinking of picking timber for your new windows and doors, bear in mind that this doesn’t mean they will automatically be sustainable or eco-friendly. But, when you choose our windows and doors in timber, you can rest assured that they are made from FSC certified timber.

What does FSC mean?

FSC is the Forest Stewardship Council – an international non for profit organisation that promotes responsible forestry. They ensure the highest environmental standards are met, so with our windows and doors receiving the FSC tick tree logo, you can be proud to say you are also supporting the world’s forests when picking new front/entrance, bifold or French doors or windows from us.

Aluminium

Are you wondering if aluminium is as eco-friendly and sustainable as timber? Well, we can tell you that ours is!

Aluminium is in fact one of the most environmentally-friendly metals, often regarded as the “green metal”, as it is 100% recyclable. Therefore, if you prefer the look and style of aluminium, you can be safe in the knowledge that your new front/entrance, bifold, sliding or French doors and windows are sustainable.

Alu-clad

Offering the best of both worlds with timber on the inside and aluminium on the outside, this material is a win-win when it comes to eco-friendliness and sustainability.

Available to choose for our sliding and French doors and windows, it’s the perfect option if you can’t choose between the earth-friendly properties of both timber and aluminium.
