If you’ve landed here it’s highly likely you’re interested in bifold doors – but maybe you need a little bit more inspiration before you commit?
Well, you’re in luck! We’ve been scouring through images of our customers’ installations of our bifold doors, and have picked some of our favourites just for you, so let’s get started…
10 – A classic wooden touch
Bifolds are great for maximising the natural light in your home due to their ability to open your space up to 90 percent aperture and at number 10 is one of our favourite projects where our oak bifolds helped to meet the project requirements of increasing the natural light. We also love how the classic oak look was used throughout the space including a matching oak dining table. Read the full case study.
9 – Matchy matchy
Number 9 are our anthracite grey EuroFold aluminium bifold doors used to match the internal colour scheme of this super chic kitchen. We love how the home owners have matched the bifolds with the colour of the kitchen cupboards and pendant lighting.
8 – Not just for the outdoors
Did you know we supply internal bifolds too? At number 8 are our brilliant white Interfold bifold doors with opaque finished glazing, creating a seamless transition between dining and playing areas – the perfect solution for when you can’t be bothered to pick up the kids toys before bed! 7 – More than just windows
Number 7 are our KustomFold bifold doors used to mirror the look and feel of the fixed glazing panels above, to really make full use of the natural light available to this beautiful home. And on multiple sides of the house too.
6 – The unconventional
We may be more used to supplying and installing glazing solutions to brick and mortar homes but we just couldn’t turn down the opportunity to get involved in this project so, at number 6, it’s our aluminium KustomFold bifold doors used in a floating container home. Featured on Channel 4’s Amazing Spaces, there is no denying that this is one of the most unusual projects we have had the pleasure of working on, and we think the finished look is super cool!
5 – It’s not all about size!
At number 5 are these 3 panel KustomFold aluminium bifold doors. Used to help maximise the space available whilst connecting the outdoor and indoor spaces, the bifolds really do make full use of the space with their ability to fully open up and neatly stack together. We also think the stunning grey colour of the aluminium compliments the exposed brick wall inside and the earthy green tones of the garden outside.
4 – Contrasting materials
Definitely one of our all time favourites, and at number 4, is this blend of our KustomFold bifold doors in grey aluminium and the wooden panelling of this home. The mix of the two creates a real organic and natural looking design.
3 – A little fancy
At number 3 is this sleek and stylish design. With an open plan kitchen dinner lit with coloured LED lighting, the owners needed bifold doors that would complement this look. They also wanted to maximise the space available to them, and with the added complication of a supporting wall in the middle, our team were up for the challenge – stacking on the outside was just one of the solutions!
2 – Quirky outdoor spaces
At number 2 is a true “maximising the space” project. With the owner of this home wanting to create a cosy den like area in their garden, seamlessly connecting to two different indoor spaces, our aluminium KustomFold bifolds helped to do just that.
1 – Sustainability
And at number 1 is…this beautiful fully sustainable home in Brittany, France. The couple had very specific design specifications which our FSC certified timber EuorFold bifold doors helped to achieve. Integrating them in the property means the couple can open the whole front of the property into the south terrace creating a seamless living space in the warmer months.
