Directors’ Statement Tuesday 3 November 2020

Further to the announcement this weekend of going into a second period of national lockdown for one month, we wanted to clarify our position to all. As always, the health and safety of our staff and customers comes first in our decision making. We already have extensive measures in place to deal with the risks. The government have been clear that manufacture and construction should continue and that is what we intend to do.

During the Coronavirus it has been of the utmost importance for us to communicate with our customers, staff, stakeholders, partners and suppliers as much as possible. Here at Kloeber, we’re working hard to continue to deliver our first class service even with restrictions in place. The following changes made to our business in the spring of 2020 have remained in place.

Other than key warehouse, delivery and site based staff, all Kloeber employees are working from home. Our site based staff are working to strict procedures based upon government guidelines so they and you stay safe. The office staff are fully operational working from home and contactable in the normal way via email, phone or video call.

Our four showrooms in Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, West Sussex and West London will all remain open on a strict appointment only basis, with mandatory PPE, hand sanitising and social distancing in place. Our sales team are also still on hand to guide you through our product range via a conference call or video meeting if preferred.

Our surveyors remain operational and will be assessing the risks of each survey when booked to ensure they can be carried out in a safe way. If you’d prefer, please ask us about ways in which we can support you to measure your own apertures through measuring guides and video conferencing. Our YouTube channel also has some great practical content.

We continue to install where safe and practical to do so. We will assess the risk of each individual site and will be in touch with any customers where more information is required.

Our non-contact deliveries will continue as they have throughout the pandemic.

Over the coming weeks, we will continue to work closely with our customers, suppliers and staff to ensure we continue to support all parties.

Once again, we’d like to thank our amazing staff for continuing to be adaptable, positive and communicative this year and for looking after our customers and colleagues to keep everyone safe and well.

Thank you for your continued support and custom.

Matt & Lee
