Windows…they can seem rather uninspiring at first, but a window is not just something to look through, it can be colourful, stylish, or even a focal point of your home’s interior or exterior!
To help you feel more inspired when it comes to picking the windows for your self-build, home renovation or improvement, we thought we’d pick some of our top window installations – check them out…
Bright and beautiful?
Yellow might not be the colour at the top of everyone’s wish list but we love how bright and bold it is. Adding a splash of brightness, and sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face who sees it, this aluminium casement window is just radiant.
Keeping it traditional
Sometimes it is best to keep it simple, and this is exactly what this customer has done with their classic and classy white glazing. The white timber flush casement windows match the brilliant white front door beautifully, the only thing left to do? Add a picket white fence.
It would have been super easy for this customer to keep the top half of their house bricked up or for them to use very traditional windows to let light in, but we think they made the perfect choice by matching their timber bifold doors with timber fixed glazing in the same colour and sizing.
Style and substance
Leaded windows can look a little old fashioned but the georgian bars on these timber flush casement windows add a stylish and contemporary touch. We also love how this customer has mirrored the look on their timber french doors too.
It’s all black and white
The pick and mix style of black and white works really well on this customer’s home. Although all white glazing can look wonderfully traditional (as in the above) we like how the black mixed with the white composite (alu-clad) casement windows creates a more modern feel.
It is not just about the outside of your home you want to think about when picking your new windows, you also want to think about how they are going to work with your interior design too. What a great blend of materials this customer has chosen with these aluminium casement windows contrasting tastefully with the timber beams. Would timber windows have been too much?
Something a little different
Why follow the crowd when you can be unique and make a splash? That’s exactly the attitude this customer had when coming to Kloeber for their alu-clad casement windows. Rather than following tradition, they designed their glazing so it would make full use of the space available, as well as maximising the light, all in a unique way – we just love it!
A wall full of windows
What a way to make a statement! If you’ve got the space, and countryside view, why not mirror what this customer has done and create floor to ceiling windows with our fixed aluminium glazing – it’s sure to get your friends and family gasping in awe.
The star of the room
Not sure what to make the focal point on your home? Well, if you’ve got a hidden gem like this customer, why not highlight it with some of our aluminium fixed glazing. As you can see, it’s the perfect way to show off a unique part of your home such as quirky brick and beam work like this.
Making the most of it
Making the most of the space you have with your windows is not only beneficial for your health – more light means more vitamin D, vitamin D reduces the risk of illness – but it also adds a stylish look and feel as with this home renovation – where our fixed aluminium glazing has been combined with our aluminium french doors – just stunning!
